Spent time with Scott Anderson of Nia Quintet today roaming around Chicago and shooting video for the Nia EPK announcing the newest record featuring Scott Anderson's compositions. A chilly day in Chicago but time well spent!
I've been lucky to be a member of Aaron McEvers M13 ensemble for some time now. It was a pleasure to master the upcoming release One Human, Too Human. As well as performing in the group and mastering the record, Aaron asked with help designing the album artwork. He already had chosen an artist to depict the cover art, so I ran with the image and choose a complimenting color scheme to design a very different looking big band album.
